Philanthropic travel has boomed in popularity over recent years, but we’ve been working with and giving back to local communities since well before it was vogue. It allows us to simultaneously contribute to the places we love to travel and create powerful, meaningful trips for our clients.
Condé Nast Magazine described Journeys Within as “pioneers in philanthropic travel,” naming us a 2008 Condé Nast World Saver.
Customized tours offer varying levels of involvement, from tours that support local, sustainable businesses to visiting sites and recipients of scholarships, clean water projects, community banking and language schools visitors can support through our active philanthropy.
Journeys Within Our Community, the nonprofit arm of Journeys Within, has thrived for 10 years thanks to the generous support and contributions we have received from around the world.
